Finland ranks number 17 in the global comparison
Finland has again ranked among the world's leading congress destinations in the Union of International Associations' (UIA) 2025 International Meetings Statistics Report, placing 17th globally. Finland continues to rank consistently among the world's top 20 congress destinations.
The result comes as Finland's congress calendar continues to fill up, with major international events already confirmed into 2027 from the World Planning Schools Congress in Espoo and Helsinki to the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) in Tampere, this year's largest-ever edition of that event.
